There were only two awards related to independent accounting firms: Kreston International as a “Rising Star Network” and PwC as “Network of the Year”.
During the award ceremony held in London, the International editor of the International Accounting Bulletin- IAB, Arvind Hickman, said that “Kreston posted solid growth of 5% but what really impressed judges is Kreston’s successful transition from an association to a network. This involves rolling a common audit methodology, common quality control and an audit firm inspection programme. It’s a massive undertaking, and Kreston and its global membership was recently welcomed to the Forum of Firms for its efforts”.
Elena Ramírez, Managing Partner of IBERAUDIT KRESTON International Office, said “that is the first time that IAB has award a global achievement of a network and we are really proud of the election of Kreston International for this award, which recognized Iberaudit and Kreston members” commitment to offer a high quality and efficiency in our international services.
