This year, the United Nations remind us with their motto “Investing in Women: Accelerating Progress” of the importance of empowering women as a fundamental driver for societal advancement.
At Kreston Iberaudit, we continually strive to achieve gender equity and eradicate any form of disparity among professionals within our organization. That’s why this year we reaffirm our commitment to promoting a world where all individuals, regardless of their gender, have equal opportunities to reach their full potential.
We understand that investing in women is both a matter of social justice and an imperative for sustainable development. By doing so, we contribute to building a more inclusive and fair environment, laying the foundation for more prosperous economies.
But at Kreston, we want to go further. We want to support the motto: “Investing in Women: Accelerating Progress” and do something genuine, something that truly contributes to the empowerment of women today, regardless of their age, to motivate them to invest in themselves.
Many of us, the Women of Kreston Iberaudit, grew up in a society or family where achieving great professional dreams seemed like a distant achievement.
In an era where pursuing a male-dominated career or accessing an executive position was considered unthinkable or required unfair efforts. However, little by little, we overcame obstacles and turned our passions into professions.
We want to show new professionals that we have all experienced fear and faced countless challenges. But we also want to convey to them that WILLPOWER, EFFORT, and SELF-CONFIDENCE are what it takes to achieve our goals.
That’s why we decided to interview the firm’s partners to tell us what they would say to themselves if they could go back in time and meet that young university student.
