Mercè Martí, Executive President of Kreston Iberaudit was recently interviewed by the Diario Tot Sant Cugat, in regard to the prize she won at the latest edition of the ADE Vallès awards.
She received the Career Award from the Asociación de Mujeres Empresarias, Directivas y Profesionales both for her work at Kreston Iberaudit, and for her general dedication to the auditing sector and her efforts for equality. In fact, she is currently the president of the Gender Equality Commission at the Colegio de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de Catalunya.
During the interview Mercè Martí explained what it meant to her to receive such recognition from the ADE Vallès institution, as well as her opinion on the reality of women in business today.
The Executive President of Kreston Iberaudit considers that there are still too few women on boards of directors and in senior management. She stresses the importance of equal opportunities based on training and individual merits. She also values the benefits of a company having an equal number of men and women in management positions.
Getting the most out of potential talent, the main obstacles that women encounter, and the options offered by working from home for an improved work life balance, are just some of the other topics touched on in the interview with Mercè Martí published in Tot Sant Cugat.
