Kreston Iberaudit, Kreston’s member network with over 300 professionals and offices across Spain, Portugal and Andorra held its 2019 national conference in Alicante. Over 70 Partners and professionals were in attendance.
The meeting was attended by the lawyer Joaquín Galant, president of the Real Liceo Casino in Alicante, who welcomed the Congress, and Liza Robbins, CEO of the international network Kreston, with presence in 125 countries. Robbins presented Kreston report, currently the 12th largest accounting network in the world with more than 25,000 professionals worldwide.
The conference was opened by host José Pascual Poveda, managing partner at Alicante office, who also presented a conference on Computation of audit techniques. Mercè Martí, Chairwoman and CEO at Kreston Iberaudit, presented on the company’s performance this year in which the firm obtained “a turnover of more than 21 million euros” and also explained the technological challenges in the new era of Digital Transformation.
This edition was attended by Manuel Herrero, HR Expert, who presented the conference “Effective Time Management” and by the Professor José L. Sánchez de Valderrama, with the presentation “Corporate information, ethics and Audit”. The conference also included presentations on auditing, by Josefina Moneo, Audit Director of Kreston Iberaudit, and tax by Jorge Borrajo and Beatriz Borrajo, A Corunna’s partners.
The conference was closed by Arturo Díaz, Executive Vice President of Kreston Iberaudit, who highlighted “the firm’s commitment to consolidate its position in the market as a reference audit firm, thanks to the professionalism and technical quality of their teams”.
